Carlos alberto torres, who was the captain of brazilian team is announced dead. He captained brazil national team to victory in the 1970 world cup. The legend died at 72 ( 17 july - oct 25) as a result of sudden heart attack.

The former santos and fuminense player featured 53 times for brazilian national team and won different local clubs.
He was a sport commentator at a brazilian channel sportv, having appeared live on studio only two days before his death.
